The IT Security organization bears the broad responsibilities of delivering information security, practice governance & assurance, and data loss prevention throughout the TJX enterprise. Our worldwide team applies expertise and deep business understanding to ensure confidence for all company associates, investors, and customers.

What you’ll do

As a Staff Product Owner for Data Security Engineering, you will partner with engineers, product management, security leadership, and stakeholders to develop a strategy and roadmaps to enhance Data Security Engineering’s services. You will build and manage relationships with stakeholders, enabling you to act as the voice of the customer. You will engage dependent teams for their support and think through challenges creatively and proactively. You will set a clear direction for your product team, enabling engineers to implement the right work at the right time to support maturity objectives and incremental value delivery. Responsibilities will include leading refinement sessions, planning sessions, maintaining service roadmaps, and participating in quarterly business reviews with key vendors.

What you’ll need

We seek creative, security-minded professionals to provide hands-on talent and social expertise in protecting TJX and its assets. You will respond to externalities and challenges, re-planning when needed while keeping leadership and stakeholders aligned on delivery changes.

  • 5-8 years of related experience in an agile delivery framework, or requirement development or Product Owner role.
  • Proficient in translating business needs into Features and Stories that teams can develop into deliverables that yield business value. Clearly define and influence vision and scope with acceptance criteria.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze options and drives solutions for complex business problems to deliver business value.
  • Understanding of Epic, Feature, and Story refinement, Story point estimation process
  • Good communicator of ongoing risks, scope trade-offs, and timeline impacts to partners to ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and other Product Owners to define and coordinate Feature development across other teams and various IT teams to drive for results.
  • Solid understanding of Portfolio, Product, and Project Management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) preferred.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and awareness of NIST CSF
  • Experience with encryption, Public Key Infrastructure, and data masking concepts and best practices
  • Perform data analysis to understand if the business requirements can be met using the data and identify any gaps.
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced Product Owners

 

This position has a starting salary range of $99,500 to $129,300 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

 

This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
