MERCHANDISING

Merchandising is comprised of two divisions; Buying and Planning & Allocation. They work together to help drive sales and profit for TJX. Our Buyers are global travelers, sourcing product from a universe of approximately 21,000 vendors and more than 100 countries to deliver exciting merchandise at amazing value to our customers every day.

Planning & Allocation impacts the day-to-day management of our retail chains by analyzing financial data, anticipating consumer buying patterns, and managing inventory levels to help the right merchandise get to the right stores at the right time.

FINANCE & ACCOUNTING

Our Finance and Accounting Department has broad responsibilities, including preparing financial reports, analyzing data and trends, and conducting tax planning for all areas of our business. Each group within the department has its own area of expertise and is responsible for understanding and communicating the data that drives our organization and makes us a global leader.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The IT team collaborates and provides the technology expertise and support to all aspects of our business. Together, they look to set the bar higher and pioneer a path forward to enable business and growth opportunities in a competitive industry. Working in a challenging, collaborative, team-based environment, you can expand your own IT capabilities while gaining valuable leadership competencies.

TJX's global IT organizational structure can provide opportunities to work cross-functionally on projects outside of your functional area. They value what you bring to the table, and they value different perspectives and feedback.

DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS

The TJX Distribution Centers are the hubs of our worldwide logistics operation. These teams are comprised of entrepreneurial problem solvers, who are responsible for millions of units in inventory, developing creative plans to optimize the flow of merchandise, and engaging and inspiring their teams. TJX relies on our Distribution Centers to run efficiently and effectively in order to support our stores around the country.
